Unwrap 3d models into foldable templates

I am looking for CAD skills to unwrap / surface develop 3d models, for example this: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/dolphin-rigged-987498 into a flat pattern for cutout assembly, such as this: https://lacrafta.com/product/bunny-mask-template-eva-foam-and-cardboard-cosplay/ (notice the color images at the bottom) and this https://woploveyhn.click/product_details/21336500.html (notice the black and white pattern on top left). Deliverables are flat cutout shapes with numbers and some assembly details. There needs to be as little torsion and bending during assembly, so experience in surface development is a big plus. Please attach a relevant project you worked on or make a sample text from a basic 3D model when applying. Thank you
