Update existing construction plans

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician or Drafter to update a comprehensive set of construction documents for an existing multi-family residential project. The successful candidate will be responsible for refining and reconciling plans across all disciplines to ensure they reflect the latest design revisions and meet current local building codes. Project Scope & Responsibilities You will be working with existing drawing sets and will be responsible for updating them to reflect current project changes. The scope includes: * **Architectural:** Update floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail sheets to reflect current design adjustments, unit layouts, and egress requirements. * **Civil:** Update site plans, grading and drainage plans, and utility connection details as they pertain to the building footprint or site revisions. * **Structural:** Coordinate with architectural changes to ensure that load paths, foundation plans, and framing details remain accurate and structurally sound. * **MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing):** Update mechanical ducting layouts, electrical panel schedules/lighting plans, and plumbing riser diagrams to align with any architectural floor plan modifications. * **Coordination:** Ensure consistency and clash detection across all four disciplines to prevent field conflicts. Deliverables * Updated CAD files for all four disciplines. * Revised PDF plan sets ready for review/permitting. * A summary report or "Revision Cloud" log highlighting the key changes made across each discipline. Requirements & Skills * **Technical Proficiency:** Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. * **Multi-Discipline Knowledge:** Strong understanding of how architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans interface with one another. * **Multi-Family Experience:** Proven experience working on multi-family residential projects (familiarity with IBC/local building codes is a plus). * **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous approach to documentation, drafting standards, and layers management. * **Problem-Solving:** Ability to identify potential conflicts between disciplines and suggest practical solutions.
