Upwork Job Post: Recruiter to Source a Founding Francophone Leader

Experienced Recruiter Needed to Source a French-English Bilingual Founding Team Member (Global Search) About the Project We are seeking an experienced freelance recruiter or talent sourcer to identify, screen, and help us recruit one exceptional bilingual (French-English) professional to join our founding team. This is not a traditional recruiting assignment. We are looking for someone who can proactively search across multiple countries and platforms to find a mission-driven individual who wants to help build a bilingual senior care initiative serving French-speaking communities across North America. The successful recruiter will be resourceful, organized, and experienced in sourcing niche international talent. The Position You Will Recruit For Translation, Communication & Community Initiatives Lead (Founding Team) This individual will help: * Translate written and verbal communications between French and English. * Facilitate communication with seniors, families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and community organizations. * Build partnerships with Francophone organizations. * Support outreach and community engagement. * Help shape the growth of our bilingual senior care initiative as we expand across North America. Candidate Requirements The candidate must have: * French proficiency (minimum B2, preferably C1 or C2) * Fluent English communication skills * Bachelor’s degree * At least one year of verifiable professional work experience and not more than 3 years. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Passion for community impact and senior care * Willingness to relocate to Canada if selected (relocation assistance may be provided) Countries to Source From We welcome candidates particularly from: Kenya Responsibilities The recruiter will: * Develop a sourcing strategy. * Search across LinkedIn, job boards, universities, professional associations, and Francophone communities. * Contact and engage qualified candidates. * Pre-screen applicants. * Verify that candidates meet the minimum requirements. * Present a shortlist of qualified candidates. * Coordinate interviews as needed. * Provide regular progress updates. Ideal Recruiter We’re looking for someone who: * Has experience recruiting internationally. * Has experience sourcing bilingual or multilingual professionals. * Knows how to conduct proactive candidate outreach. * Is organized and responsive. * Can communicate clearly in English (French is a bonus).
