PROJECT OVERVIEW We are producing a 30-minute YouTube educational video titled "How to Write a Bestselling Book," based on the book The Write Path by Terry Toler and Michael Toler. The video teaches aspiring authors how to write, publish, and market a book using Amazon KDP. All assets are ready — voiceover audio, slides, cinematic images, and an AI avatar character. We need an experienced video editor to assemble everything into a polished, professional final cut. ASSETS WE ARE PROVIDING (ALL READY) You will receive everything below — no research or content creation is required on your end: Voiceover Audio (15 MP3 files, ~28 min total) • Professional AI voiceover narrated by "Jamie Austen" character — recorded in ElevenLabs at 44.1 kHz • Files are split into segments (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 2C, etc.) — you will join them seamlessly per segment • Two mid-roll ad breaks — content for these will be provided separately Instructional Slide Deck (19 slides) • PowerPoint deck (.pptx) — professional educational design, dark blue/gold color scheme • Used as chapter openers and step-by-step instructional overlays throughout the video AI Infographic Slides (16 images) • Cinematic infographic graphics, one per major topic (mindset, outlining, KDP setup, marketing, etc.) • Used as B-roll visual support during narration Cinematic B-Roll Photos (10 Higgsfield images) • High-quality AI-generated cinematic stills: writer at typewriter, manuscript editing, Amazon bestseller, email marketing, book analytics dashboard, red clock, mountain sunrise, and more • Used as atmospheric B-roll between instructional segments AI Avatar — "Jamie Austen" (6 appearances) • AI talking head character — the on-camera narrator of the video • You will generate the avatar clips using HeyGen, Synthesia, or equivalent lip-sync tool • We provide the exact timecodes, spoken lines, and duration for each of the 6 appearances • Avatar appears at: video open, Segment 1 close, pre-Ad 1 handoff, Segment 5 open, Segment 7 urgency, final close Two Promotional End Cards (BookBrush images) • "Narrated by Jamie Austen" title card — used at video opening • "The Write Path — Available on Amazon" QR code card — used at the CTA close Shot List & Avatar Placement Docs • Complete shot list document with timecodes for every visual asset across all 7 segments • Separate avatar timeline document specifying exact timecodes, spoken cues, and framing notes for all 6 avatar appearances WHAT WE NEED DELIVERED • One fully edited 30-minute video (approximately 28 min audio + 2 mid-roll ad breaks) • All 7 content segments assembled in sequence with voiceover audio joined seamlessly within each segment • Slides, AI infographic images, and Higgsfield B-roll placed per the provided shot list with accurate timecodes • Jamie Austen AI avatar clips generated and inserted at the 6 specified placements with accurate lip sync to the provided audio • Smooth cuts and transitions throughout — professional pacing consistent with high-quality YouTube educational content • Final close with QR code / book cover card held on screen during the last 20 seconds • Export: 1920x1080, H.264 or H.265, 44.1 kHz audio, YouTube-ready • Project file delivered along with the final render (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Proven experience editing long-form YouTube educational or documentary-style videos (30+ min) • Experience with AI talking head / avatar tools — HeyGen, Synthesia, D-ID, or equivalent with lip sync capability • Comfortable working from a detailed shot list and timecode document • Strong sense of pacing for narration-driven content — knows when to cut, hold, and transition • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro • Ability to integrate PowerPoint slides as video elements cleanly • Color grading experience — can match tone across cinematic images, slides, and avatar footage • Reliable communication and ability to deliver on agreed timeline Nice to have (not required): • Experience with motion graphics or subtle Ken Burns pan/zoom effects on still images • Familiarity with YouTube chapter markers and end screen overlays • Prior work on book marketing, publishing, or business education content TO APPLY — PLEASE INCLUDE • Portfolio link or samples of long-form YouTube videos you have edited (30 min+ preferred) • At least one example of a project where you integrated an AI avatar or talking head with lip sync • Your estimated timeline to complete this project from receipt of all assets • Your preferred video editing software • A brief note on your experience editing narration-driven educational content PROJECT DETAILS Project type: Fixed price (open to milestone structure) Video length: ~30 minutes (28 min audio + 2 mid-roll ad breaks) Deadline: Please provide your estimated turnaround after receiving all assets Communication: English required — we will communicate via Upwork messages Revisions: Up to 2 rounds of revisions included in your quote This is a well-organized project with all assets, timecodes, and placement guides already prepared.
