Upwork Designs - Shared Folder (click here) Job Title: Faithful Vector Recreation of Existing Logo Concept (Minor Professional Refinements Only) Job Description: IMPORTANT: I am not looking for a redesign or reinterpretation of this logo. Over the past several weeks, I have intentionally refined this concept and am emotionally attached to the overall composition, proportions, and feeling. My goal is for the final vector to look almost identical to the supplied concept at first glance. Success is measured by how faithfully the illustration is recreated—not by how different or "improved" it becomes. I welcome your professional advice on small refinements (cleaner curves, improved optical balance, line quality, shading, scalability, etc.), but I am not seeking a new artistic direction. Success for this project means that the final vector looks almost indistinguishable from the supplied concept at first glance. The purpose is not to redesign the logo, but to preserve its visual identity while correcting AI artifacts and making it production-ready. Core Responsibilities: Professional Refinement Consultation: Review the AI image and provide professional insight on what lines, shading, or composition elements need minor adjustments to look crisp and clean as a functional logo. Faithful Manual Vector Recreation: Rebuild the supplied illustration completely by hand as clean vector artwork while preserving the existing composition and emotional feel. The objective is to remove AI artifacts and create production-quality artwork—not reinterpret the design. If your instinct is to redesign the logo, this project is probably not the right fit. Technical Deliverables Required (For Digital & Merchandise Use): Because this logo will live on websites but also needs to be printed on apparel, tote bags, and embroidered onto merchandise, I require the following asset package upon completion: Master Digital Vectors: Full-color vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG) using smooth gradient meshes for websites and high-res print. Screen-Print Variant: A flat-color alternative version of the artwork with limited, clean color separations (no complex gradients) for affordable apparel printing. Simplified / High-Contrast Variant: A version with optimized, slightly thicker line weights suitable for small scales and embroidery machine digitizing. Brand Style Spec Sheet: A breakdown of the final color palette with exact HEX, RGB, CMYK, and Pantone (PMS) matching codes. Typography Assets: The exact .OTF or .TTF font files used, or links to download them if they are commercial fonts. High-Res Raster Files: High-resolution .PNG files with transparent backgrounds (optimized for web, dark backgrounds, and social media) and press-quality, print-ready .PDF files. Line Art Variant: An outline-only (monochrome/single-color) version of the emblem for use as watermarks, stamps, or engraving patterns. Secondary Monogram Mark (RTW): A matching typographic secondary mark using the company initials ("RTW") integrated with simplified sun/wave elements from the primary logo (for worksheets and small merchandise). Isolated Assets (Deconstructed Logo): Individual, standalone files for: The circular nature emblem by itself (no text). The full text layout by itself (no emblem). The decorative separator line and dot element by itself. Pictures: Logo The attached logo should be treated as the blueprint, not simply the inspiration. Pictures: RTW Brainstorming Concepts (Please note, we will create our own color palette based on what makes sense from the emblem. This is just a sampling of some of the RTW ideas that I played around with as a starting place. Concept #1 currently feels the most aligned with the primary logo, but I'd still appreciate your professional input before finalizing the secondary mark. Color Direction Color is extremely important to me, but I also recognize that colors vary from screen to screen. Please use the supplied logo concept as the primary visual reference. The descriptions below are intended to communicate the overall feeling and color relationships rather than exact shades. Overall Palette: Vibrant Tropical Paradise Sunrise Water Bright tropical turquoise Aqua Bright teal Ocean-inspired blues The water should feel vibrant, luminous, and inviting. Sunset Warm golden sunlight Soft coral Coral-orange Sunset pink transitioning into tropical magenta only at the outermost edge of the sky The sunrise should remain predominantly warm gold and coral. Pink is intended as a subtle finishing hue rather than a dominant color. Smooth, gradual blending between colors is very important. Accent Colors Deep ocean blue White light reflections Desired Feeling The color palette should feel: Bright Hopeful Full of possibility Warm Coastal Emotionally uplifting Avoid: Muted Dusty Earthy Boho wellness palettes If there is ever a conflict between the written color descriptions and the supplied artwork, please use the artwork as the primary reference. Master Design & Refinement Checklist The checklist below is intended to guide refinement—not encourage redesign. If you believe a suggested change would significantly alter the overall identity or composition of the logo, I'd prefer we discuss it before proceeding. Shoreline: Refine the shoreline so the transition between sand and water feels more natural and organic while preserving the existing composition. Sand: Refine the sand colors so they harmonize with the overall palette and feel warm, clean, and consistent with the sunlight. Optical Alignment & Balance: I'd appreciate your professional thoughts on the optical balance of the emblem. If you believe subtle refinements could improve visual balance while preserving the existing composition, I'd love to discuss them before any changes are made. Example: Logo Alignment - Sample (More details here) AI Error Clean-up: Correct messy AI tangents, clean up the sun rays (which awkwardly overlap the mountains and clouds), and ensure line weights are clean and intentional. (This is a comment by AI, please interpret it accordingly) Structural Flow & The Left Branch: The branch is one of the defining elements of this logo. I'd appreciate your thoughts on whether any subtle refinements to proportion, color, or placement would improve the illustration while maintaining its current character. Typography, Contrast & Scalability Can you give me your thoughts on this? And do you like the color of the dot? I’m not sure if I like it. For the wording, we should definitely use colors that make sense based on the emblem. Budget: This is a fixed-price project budgeted at $300. Payments will be managed securely through Upwork Escrow and split into three clear milestones: Milestone 1 ($90): Initial layout, shape refinements, and color proof of the main emblem. Milestone 2 ($135): Finalizing the master full-color vector of the main emblem. Milestone 3 ($75): Creation of the secondary "RTW" monogram mark, the line-art outline variant, and packaging all final assets. Future Brand Scope: I want to build a long-term relationship with an illustrator who can help me finalize the primary logo first, and then transition into building out this complete brand family in a follow-up contract. Social Media Header Banner: A high-resolution Facebook/LinkedIn/Website banner combining the new vector assets with updated, clean imagery. Social Media Templates: A set of 4–6 cohesive Canva or Adobe Express templates for inspirational quotes, announcements, and wellness tips to establish a unified visual identity online. Email signature Business card To Apply: Please share 2–3 examples from your portfolio that showcase detailed, realistic vector illustrations (such as etching, engraving, vintage botanical, or complex packaging work). Applications showing only generic corporate logos or automated work will be skipped.
