About the Role: We're looking to add to our Vendor Support team whose function is to manage current vendors and prospect/onboard new vendors across the country where we have an area needing vendor coverage. These are vendors who will provide a service or maintenance on our properties (such as a plumber in the Charlotte market). Most of the contacts will be made via phone rather than email, so we'd prefer to hire someone who is comfortable speaking with people on the phone. You'll also be responsible for providing support to vendors when they have questions on invoicing, coverage and compliance. This role will also provide support to a Vendor Manager. Responsibilities: *50% administrative tasks/service/research, 50% prospecting/outreach to new vendors *Support Vendor Managers in the day to day work; i.e. supporting cross functional partners who have identified gaps or vendors to onboard, vetting vendors, and assisting on Dispatch Plan calls/follow up *Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on specific requirements and company standards. *Onboard new vendors i.e. reviewing our vendor handbook, expectations for their work, how fast they should have quotes submitted, jobs completed, etc. *Be a point of contact for the vendor network *Drive product adoption of the vendor portal *Assist to resolve minor challenges that may arise between vendors and the company. *Serve as part of the vendor's voice to internal Mynders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. *Provide support to the internal Mynd operations team, demonstrating adaptability in addressing operational challenges with the vendor network *Collaborate and work cross-functionally in a team environment Qualifications: *Successful background of prospecting to find new vendors *Familiarity with research strategies to find the right kind of vendor *Customer service experience *Able to work in U.S. business hours *Strong communication skills, both verbal and written We offer full-time hours and would like to find people who'll stay with us for the long-term.
