About the Product We are building a venue analytics SaaS platform for venue managers. It allows managers to upload floor performance data and receive formatted analytics reports. The product has a highly specific visual identity built around a dark theme, serif/monospace typography pairing, and a precise colour and data hierarchy system. What You'll Be Building This is a focused, design-led data product. The core work involves: Building and refining a multi-tab React dashboard with a custom design system (no off-the-shelf UI kits) File upload and data ingestion pipelines Backend APIs in Python/FastAPI with PostgreSQL for data storage and processing Report generation and formatting output for venue managers Auth flows, user settings, and account management What We're Looking For Frontend craft is the priority. You should be able to look at a detailed design spec and implement it with precision, including pixel-accurate layouts, custom typography, and a data visualisation layer that actually looks considered. Functional but ugly is not good enough for this product. Backend competence is required but does not need to be your primary strength. You should be comfortable with APIs, data modelling, and file processing without needing to be a systems engineer. Required React (strong, with evidence of polished dashboard or data product work) TypeScript Python / FastAPI PostgreSQL Custom CSS / Tailwind with the ability to deviate from defaults intentionally Git / GitHub Helpful Experience with file upload and parsing pipelines (CSV, Excel) Chart or data visualisation libraries (Recharts, D3, or similar) Report generation (PDF output) Stripe billing Render or similar hosting Who This Suits A developer who takes visual quality seriously alongside technical correctness. You should be able to show at least one dashboard or data product you have built that you are genuinely proud of aesthetically, not just one that worked.
