Vertical Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled video editor to create engaging vertical videos for social media platforms (primarily Instagram). The ideal candidate will have experience in editing short-form content and a strong understanding of storytelling techniques. Responsibilities include editing videos to enhance visual appeal and ensure they are optimized for mobile viewing. Familiarity with popular social media trends is a plus. What you'll be doing: Editing vertical reels for Instagram (cross-posted to TikTok and YouTube Shorts) — mostly talking-head segments intercut with cinematic B-roll Color grading every video to match a consistent warm, earthy aesthetic — lifted highlights, warm shadows, golden hour even when the footage wasn't shot in it Pacing edits so they're genuinely captivating — strong hooks, no dead air, jump cuts that keep momentum without feeling frantic Cutting footage down to feel cinematic and intentional, not like raw clips stitched together Maintaining visual consistency across a growing library of content (consistent grade, consistent feel, recognizable as "us" within the first second)
