Title: Video Ad Creator / Editor (Performance Marketing + AI + Motion Graphics) Summary Video Ad Creator / Editor (Performance + AI + Motion) Remote (U.S. preferred) | Full-Time or Contract Company: The Kinetic Arm About the Role We’re looking for a video ad creator/editor who knows how to make content that performs — not just looks good. This role sits at the intersection of: Storytelling Editing Performance marketing AI-powered creative workflows You’ll be producing high-volume, high-performing video ads and static creatives for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube — built to drive engagement, clicks, and conversions. This is not a traditional brand editor role. We need someone who understands hooks, pacing, and what actually makes people stop scrolling. What You’ll Do Create and edit short-form video ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) Produce 10–20+ assets per week across multiple concepts and angles Develop scroll-stopping hooks, narratives, and ad storylines Turn raw footage + approved assets into high-performing ads Use AI tools to support: Storytelling & scripting Concept ideation Motion graphics & visual effects Static ad creative (thumbnails, overlays, variations) Add clean motion graphics, overlays, and visual enhancements (not heavy VFX) Iterate quickly based on performance (CTR, retention, conversions) Collaborate with marketing team to align creative with campaign goals Adapt messaging for different audiences (athletes, parents, etc.) What We’re Looking For Core Skills Strong video editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Movavi, or similar) Experience creating short-form, social-first content Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and hooks Ability to create content that feels native, not overproduced Experience with motion graphics, overlays, and visual storytelling elements Performance Mindset (Critical) Experience creating content for paid ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) Understands: Hooks Retention CTR Creative fatigue Able to iterate based on data, not just opinion AI + Modern Workflow Uses AI tools to enhance: Storytelling and scripting Creative ideation Motion graphics and visual effects Static and video ad production at scale Knows how to move fast using AI — without relying on it entirely Strong fundamentals (can build narrative and edit from scratch) Bonus (Nice to Have) Experience in sports / baseball / athlete-focused brands UGC-style ad experience Understanding of athlete + parent psychology Motion design experience (VFX/CGI is a bonus — not required) Who You Are You think in ideas, not just edits You understand what makes content work (and what doesn’t) You move fast and can handle high output You care about performance, not just aesthetics You’re constantly testing, learning, and improving What Success Looks Like Content that improves: Engagement CTR Conversions Bringing new creative angles weekly Helping scale content output without losing effectiveness Contributing to a repeatable creative system that drives growth Why Join Us Work on a fast-growing, performance-driven brand Be part of building a high-output creative engine Direct impact on revenue and growth Fast-moving, no-fluff environment How to Apply Please include: Portfolio (REQUIRED) Examples of short-form ad content Any performance metrics (if available) Important: We are not looking for traditional editors.
