Upwork Community, We are HumanStryde, a data company specializing in egocentric (first-person POV) video datasets to train next-generation humanoid robots. We are expanding into Latin America and seeking technical contributors to record high-quality, first-person video data in controlled environments for AI research. Why This Matters: ❇️Over $10B was invested in humanoid robotics in 2024 alone. ❇️Real-world human movement data is scarce and highly valuable for training AI models. ❇️Your contributions will directly support the development of robots capable of navigating real-world spaces. _______________ What You’ll Do: 📱Record first-person POV videos of chores or interactions with objects and spaces e.g.: 🏠Navigating rooms ✅Manipulating tools/fixing things 🛏️Tidying up the room, 👔Cleaning, ironing clothes And many more different activities to do. Ensure videos meet technical specifications (see Requirements below). Submit footage via our secure upload system. 📋Requirements 📱Device: iPhone 11 or newer / Google Pixel 6 or newer / Samsung Galaxy S21 (only from the Galaxy "S" line) *Use of a headband to hold the phone.* The headband will be refunded once the participant reaches 50 valid hours. Experience: Familiarity with video recording equipment and ability to follow technical guidelines. Content: Clear visibility of hands and object interactions. Natural, unscripted activity (no staged performances). Good lighting (natural or artificial). 📸📤Deliverables: Each session lasts up to 30 minutes (1–3 hours/day ideally, remember that this adjusts to your availability) Videos will be anonymized (faces blurred) and processed 💵Payment: $5 USD per accepted hour of footage that meets at least the 90% of quality standards. The proposed payment in the job description is a placeholder, taking as an example someone who records 1 hour each day. 👤 Who We’re Looking For: Individuals with technical aptitude (experience with cameras, data collection).
