# Video Editing Tutor & Future Long-Term Editor I'm looking for someone to teach me how to edit my own videos. I have a large library of raw footage that I want to turn into short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.), but I'm not yet comfortable using professional editing software. **This is NOT a typical editing job.** I'm looking for someone who can jump on live screen-sharing calls with me and guide me through the editing process. Think of yourself more as a tutor or coach than an editor. I want someone who can answer questions like: * Where do I click? * What's the fastest way to do this? * How would you organize this project? * What's the best workflow? * Which shortcuts should I know? * How would you edit this section? The goal is for **me** to be the one editing, while you help me learn the platform and develop an efficient workflow. I've hired several editors in the past, and I realized that my content is very personal to my style. By the time we've gone through multiple rounds of revisions, it's often faster for me to edit it myself. I want to learn the process well enough to bring my vision to life without all the back-and-forth. I'm looking for someone who: * Is highly experienced with modern video editing software * Is patient and enjoys teaching * Can explain things clearly without overcomplicating them * Is available for live video calls and screen sharing * Has experience creating engaging short-form social media content This could absolutely grow into a long-term relationship. My long-term goal is **not** to edit everything myself forever. I would love to find someone who eventually learns my editing style so well that they can take over much of the editing process.
