Video Editor for Social Skills Digital Courses (Ongoing Project) We are looking for a talented and creative video editor to help transform raw educational content into engaging, professional online courses for tweens, teens, and young adults. About the Project I am currently producing 15–20 digital courses focused on teaching social skills, confidence, communication, friendships, emotional intelligence, executive functioning, and life skills to young people. Three courses already have raw footage ready for editing, with additional courses being produced on an ongoing basis. Each course includes: A 30–50 minute instructional video A 20-minute parent supplement video reviewing the material taught to students A PDF-fillable workbook that students complete during and after the course Presentation slides created in Gamma Video recordings created in Descript What I Need I'm looking for someone who can take the raw course materials and create polished, engaging educational videos that hold the attention of tweens, teens, and young adults. Responsibilities include: Editing and polishing video content Cleaning up and enhancing audio quality Adjusting lighting, color, and overall video quality when needed Reviewing and improving script flow and presentation quality Adding animations, motion graphics, transitions, callouts, captions, and visual elements Integrating Gamma presentation slides into the final videos Incorporating workbook references and visual cues that support learning Creating an engaging learning experience while maintaining a professional educational tone Ensuring final videos are optimized for online course delivery Ideal Candidate Experience editing online courses, educational content, YouTube content, or e-learning programs Experience in youth education, coaching, training, or course creation is highly preferred Strong motion graphics and animation skills Experience working with Descript and presentation-based videos Excellent audio cleanup and enhancement abilities Understanding of how to keep tween and teen audiences engaged Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Experience with Kajabi course platforms is a significant plus Deliverables For each course: Final edited course video (30–50 minutes) Final edited parent supplement video (approximately 20 minutes) Branded graphics, animations, and visual enhancements as needed Final video files formatted and organized for easy upload to Kajabi Timeline My preferred turnaround time is 7–10 days per course, though faster delivery is a plus. Long-Term Opportunity This project has the potential to become a long-term partnership. I am currently producing 15–20 courses, with additional courses planned in the future. I am looking for someone who can become a reliable part of the production process as this course library continues to grow.
