Video Editor (Direct Response / Meta Ads) We’re a fast-growing DTC supplement brand looking for a high-level Video Editor to create performance-driven Meta ads that convert. This is not a traditional editing role focused on aesthetics or cinematic storytelling. Every creative is built to sell. You’ll work closely with our creative team to turn raw footage, UGC, scripts, and concepts into compelling direct response ads optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities Edit high-converting Meta ads for Facebook & Instagram Turn raw footage, UGC, testimonials, and b-roll into engaging direct response creatives Create multiple variations and iterations of winning ads Implement strong hooks, pacing, captions, sound design, motion graphics, and retention-focused editing Collaborate closely with creative strategists and media buyers Iterate creatives based on performance feedback and data Creative Formats You’ll Edit UGC ads Talking head ads Founder-led ads Authority/expert-style ads Native-style ads Testimonial ads Problem/solution ads Animation ads Motion graphics & animated explainers VSL-style creatives Required Experience Proven experience editing direct response ads for DTC brands Strong portfolio of performance-focused creatives Deep understanding of Meta-style editing and retention Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent software Experience editing UGC creatives that feel native to the feed What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, and viewer psychology You know the difference between content that looks good and content that converts Up to date with current DTC creative trends and winning Meta ad styles Ability to study winning ads and replicate successful structures and editing styles Self-starter who thrives working autonomously Supplement or health/wellness experience is a plus What We Offer $1,000-$2,500 USD/month depending on experience Performance bonuses tied to winning creatives Fully remote, flexible schedule Long-term opportunity with a fast-scaling DTC brand Opportunity to work on high-volume paid social campaigns Next Steps: Please attach a google drive link to your past work below, brands you worked with, video ads you have made.
