🎬 Video Editor + Content Strategist — Music Education / Short-Form Social (Ongoing)

I'm a music educator and industry professional creating content about songwriting, artistry, and the real music business. I film weekly classroom sessions using an Insta360 multi-camera setup + Sony camera, capturing raw, unscripted conversations with emerging artists and students. I need a skilled editor who understands the music world and can help turn this raw footage into compelling content that grows an audience. --- 📦 WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE EACH WEEK • 2–4 hours of raw multi-angle footage (Insta360 + Sony) • Sessions include: student "hot seat" moments, my direct-to-camera takes, and classroom reactions --- ✂️ WHAT I NEED EACH WEEK • 5–10 short-form clips (60–90 seconds) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts • Occasional longer edits (5–15 min) for YouTube • Each clip should include: — Strong visual hook in the first 2–3 seconds — Captions/subtitles (styled, not just auto-generated) — Smart multicam cuts between angles — Music bed where appropriate — Platform-specific formatting (vertical for TikTok/Reels, etc.) --- 🎯 THE IDEAL PERSON • Has genuine knowledge of the music industry (artist development, songwriting, the business side) • Understands what makes short-form content *stop the scroll* — not just technically, but narratively • Can watch 2 hours of footage and identify the 10 moments worth clipping — without me having to timestamp everything • Has ideas.
