Video Editor & Creator for Projects.

We are seeking a forward-thinking, highly creative AI Video Editor & Content Producer to join our team. In this role, you won't just be cutting footage—you will be at the intersection of traditional post-production and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. You will leverage AI video generation tools, craft flawless kinetic captions, and apply deep creative editing skills to produce high-engaging, platform-native content (including TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form marketing videos). Key Responsibilities AI Video Generation & Prompting: Utilize AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Sora, Pika, Midjourney) to generate, extend, or enhance b-roll, avatars, animations, and visual assets based on scripts and concepts. Creative Video Editing: Execute high-quality traditional editing—including narrative pacing, sound design, color grading, and visual effects—to transform raw or AI-generated assets into a polished final product. Captions & Text Animation: Design and implement dynamic, highly engaging captions and subtitles tailored for short-form mobile viewing (utilizing tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or specialized AI captioning software). Asset Management & Enhancement: Use AI tools for upscaling footage, removing backgrounds, generating voiceovers, and cleaning up audio to drastically optimize production speed. Storyboarding & Conceptualization: Collaborate with writers and creators to storyboard concepts, deciding where traditional footage fits best and where AI generation can push creative boundaries. Platform Optimization: Ensure all video outputs are optimized for specific platform algorithms, aspect ratios, and audience retention behaviors. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of video editing experience, with a proven portfolio showcasing both traditional creative editing and integrated AI workflows. Software Proficiency: Traditional: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. AI Video/Image Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Runway Gen-2/Gen-3, Pika Labs, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms. Captioning/Mobile-First: Proficiency in CapCut, Submagic, or advanced Premiere text workflows. Creative Eye: Strong understanding of visual storytelling, comedic timing, narrative pacing, and sound design. Technical Adaptability: A fast learner who proactively keeps up with the weekly changes and advancements in AI video technology. Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading skills for on-screen text, captions, and seamless audio/video syncing. Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications Experience with automated video workflow tools and bulk video generation. Basic understanding of prompt engineering for text-to-video and image-to-video models. Graphic design or 2D animation skills.
