Video Editor (Faceless YouTube Channel) - High-Retention, 10–15 Min, Long-Term
Worldwide
About the channel: I run a faceless, voiceover-based YouTube channel covering Elon Musk and Tesla product news, rumors, and explainers - Tesla Bot (Optimus), the rumored Pi Phone, Starlink, Powerwall and solar, the robotaxi, and similar. The audience is US, English-speaking, and skews 45+: curious about new tech and what it means for their wallet. The tone is exciting but honest, we build curiosity, then tell the truth and clearly separate confirmed fact from rumor. I never make false promises to viewers, and integrity is non-negotiable on this channel. What you'll do: • Turn a finished script into a voiceover + a polished, high-retention 10-12 minute faceless video. • Source and license b-roll, product renders, and stock; build simple motion graphics (number counters, comparison bars for the "money math" section). • Keep it moving: a visual change every 3-5 seconds, on-screen text reinforcing every key number, and a retention reset every 90-120 seconds. • Add captions, mix music/effects under the voiceover, and build end screens with the next-video tease. Technical specs: • 4K, 16:9, 30 fps, H.264 .mp4. • Audio mixed to ~−14 LUFS, voiceover always clearly above the music. • Clean, licensed assets only. Nothing that risks copyright strikes or content-ID claims. You keep a source/license log. • Turnaround that comfortably supports 3 videos per week. What I do NOT want: • Slideshow editing, a stock photo held for 15 seconds with a slow zoom. Retention is everything. • Recycled templates with no thought, or work that isn't actually yours. • Copyright-striking footage or music. Rights management is on you. • Quietly outsourcing the work to someone else after I hire you. I'm hiring the person whose reel I approve. • Relying on one-click "auto-edit" AI to do the job. Tools are fine, but I'm paying for your craft and judgment. Long-term collaboration: One paid test video to start. Strong work can become ongoing, with at least 3 videos per week of steady volume. How to apply (missing any of these = ignored): 1. 2-3 links to faceless/voiceover YouTube videos YOU personally edited (not the channel's trailer - actual edits), with view counts where possible. 2. Your typical turnaround for an ~11-minute video, your editing software, and where you source b-roll and music. 3. Confirm you do not outsource. Reader check: Start your proposal with the word RETENTION so I know you read this. Proposals without it are deleted unread. Important: • I will verify your work: live video/channel links, source files, and possibly a short call about your process. • Misrepresenting someone else's work as your own ends the process immediately, and I check. • I hire experienced people who rely on their own skill, not on AI doing the job for them. • We start with a first PAID test, then scale. I do not ask for free spec work, and I expect the same professionalism back.
