Hi, We're looking for a video editor for a faceless YouTube channel that analyzes fictional characters from iconic movies and TV shows to educate viewers about business, sales, persuasion, psychology, and human behavior. The videos will be voiceover-based. You’ll receive a script and voiceover, and your job will be to edit the video using fitting clips, images, captions, music, visual animations, sound effects, and pacing. The editing style should be premium, clean and engaging. The video should keep viewers interested and match what the narrator is saying. Lessons should be visually explained on screen through interesting visuals and motion graphics to keep the viewers hooked throughout the video. You should be able to: - Find relevant clips and images based on the script - Match visuals to the narration - Add motion graphics and interesting visuals for important points - Use zooms, cuts, pans, crops, and pacing changes to keep the video engaging - Use transformative editing when using movie or TV footage - Avoid long unedited clips - Add overlays, freeze frames, callouts, captions, and visual changes where appropriate - Add music and sound effects - Make educational content feel entertaining - Deliver a finished video that is ready to upload The channel will cover characters from movies and tv-series, but the focus is on real lessons about persuasion, business, sales, psychology, power, leadership, strategy, and human behavior. Because the videos use clips from existing movies and TV-shows it’s important that the editing feels transformative and supports the commentary. The videos will usually range from 10 to 25 minutes. The price shown is for a 15-minute video, so the rate is $4 per minute of edited video material. This means: - 10 minutes = $40 - 15 minutes = $60 - 20 minutes = $80 - 25 minutes = $100 Please apply only if you can find fitting visuals yourself and understand how to support a narration with good editing.
