Video Editor (Meta Ads)
Worldwide
We are an agency that manage Meta ad and social media campaigns for a variety of clients. The pace is quick and focused on performance. We're on the lookout for an editor who’s already familiar with direct response, no need for us to bring you up to speed on the basics of what works. You’ll be creating short-form direct response ads for Meta: think Feed, Reels, and Stories, mostly ranging from 15 to 60 seconds. The formats will include UGC, talking-head, AI avatars, and hybrids. You’ll be working from briefs, making adjustments based on feedback, and juggling multiple campaigns simultaneously. You’re a great fit if: -You’ve edited Meta ads that have actually run and delivered results, and you understand why they succeeded: hook rate, thumb-stop, cost per result (not just that they looked good.) -You prioritize the first three seconds before anything else. -You can handle raw UGC footage and make editorial choices independently. -You’ve produced AI avatar videos that feel credible and human, this is a core part of our work, not just a bonus. -You recognize the difference between a well-edited 30-second ad and one that truly converts. You’re not the right fit if: -Your experience is only in long-form, brand, film, or TV. Although occasionally we will get those requests so it's still good to have. -You don't consider metrics like hook rate or cost per result. -You require a lot of creative guidance to put together a cut. To apply: We need three things from you: 1. One ad. Just one: your best direct response Meta ad. If you have any performance data (even something like, "this ran for six weeks and achieved a 2x ROAS," or "hook rate was 38%"), please include it with some kind of actual visual proof of the results. If you don’t have access to data, share what you were optimizing for and what you noticed. 2. One question answered. In two to four sentences, explain how you tackle creating a hook when you’re given raw UGC footage with no clear opening. There’s no right or wrong answer. We’re interested in your thought process. 3. One line about your availability and whether you’re seeking project work, a retainer, or either.
