Video Editor - Meta Ad/Organic Posting Clips - Short Form Content

I run marketing for home-service businesses (pressure washing, exterior cleaning, and similar) and I'm looking for a video editor to cut short-form ad videos for Facebook and Instagram on an ongoing basis. What you'll be making: Vertical (9:16, 1080x1920) ad videos, typically 15–30 seconds, built for paid Meta campaigns. The formats we run include: - Founder-style talking videos with fast cuts and B-roll overlays - Before/after transformation reveals (split-screens, swipe/wipe transitions) - Timelapse process footage with speed-ramping "Review wall" social-proof videos (fast-scrolling stacks of 5-star review screenshots with featured readable quotes) - Simple text-card hooks and branded end cards with a call to action How we'll work: You won't be starting from a blank page. For every video, I'll give you a written shot-list/edit brief that lays out the concept, the timing shot-by-shot, the on-screen captions, and the brand colors/fonts. I'll supply all raw assets: phone footage, before/after photos, review screenshots, and logo files. Your job is to turn the brief + assets into a polished, scroll-stopping ad. Expected volume is 2–4 videos per month to start, more if the fit is good. This is long-term work for the right person. I'd rather build with one editor who learns our brands than re-explain everything each project. Skills required: * Strong short-form paid-ad editing (Meta/TikTok style pacing; a cut every 2–3 seconds, nothing sits still) * Bold, high-contrast burned-in captions that work with sound OFF, kept clear of the FB/IG UI zones * Clean speed-ramps, split-screens, and wipe/swipe reveals * Basic motion graphics (animated text, logo end cards, highlight/zoom on review screenshots) * Color/exposure cleanup of phone footage * Music selection that matches the edit rhythm (video must still work muted) * Ability to follow a written brief precisely AND flag when something in the brief won't work Nice to have: - Experience editing ads for local/home-service businesses or lead-gen campaigns - Understanding of what makes the first 3 seconds of an ad stop the scroll - Ability to deliver 2–3 hook variations of the same video for testing Deliverables per video: 1. Final MP4, 1080x1920, under 4GB, ready to upload to Meta Ads Manager 2. Project file or editable version so we can revise hooks/captions later 3. One round of revisions included Communication: I give clear, written direction and fast feedback. I expect a 24–48 hour first cut on most videos and responsiveness during US Eastern business hours (async is fine, just don't disappear for days).
