Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist — Responsibilities Editing & Assembly - Cut and assemble footage from screen captures, robot execution shots, and demo recordings to a locked voiceover script and storyboard - Sync AI-generated voiceover to footage, matching each VO line to the visual it describes without padding or dead air - Produce both long-form masters (2–3 min, 16:9) and short-form cutdowns from the same source asset - Identify re-cuttable moments from existing long-form videos to produce segment-specific cutdowns for different audiences and channels, without new filming On-Screen Graphics & Text Animation - Apply on-screen text overlays and callouts per storyboard spec - Animate title cards and end cards per approved templates - Label feature modules at the correct timecodes Asset Delivery & Format - Export final cuts at 1080p minimum, 16:9 - Prepare format variants per channel: LinkedIn, YouTube, trade show loop - Generate and deliver SRT subtitle files alongside each video Audio - Select background music appropriate to the tone of each video type - Add sound effects where applicable - Mix voiceover, music, and SFX to a balanced output QA & Review - Review each cut against the asset brief before submission - Flag voiceover-to-footage sync conflicts with specific timecodes rather than improvising a fix - Verify asset details before use - Complete at least one review cycle with the in-house point of contact before final export
