Video Editor - Motorsport Content

THE ROLE This is a selects / culling role. You are the first pass on our footage: watching raw material, pulling the best moments, and organizing them so our senior editor and creative lead can build the episode. You are not finishing episodes — you're setting the table so the rest of the team can cook. What you'll do: Access our footage remotely through our shared storage system (we'll onboard you — it's straightforward) Download proxies and cull through multi-camera race and test footage Pull the best moments and build organized selects timelines Drop markers and label key moments following our established system (we'll show you exactly how) Hand off clean, organized projects for our team to finish WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A dedicated, fast, disciplined editor who loves the craft of cutting Straight, clean cuts — strong sense of timing and pacing Comfortable working through large volumes of multi-cam footage Organized and reliable with file management and naming Communicates clearly and consistently (we run on Slack) Bonus: motorsport, sports, or documentary/unscripted experience IMPORTANT — THE STYLE This is NOT flashy, effect-heavy editing. No rapid flash cuts, no gimmicks, no trendy transitions. We want clean, confident, straight cuts that let the real moments and characters breathe. Restraint over flash. If your reel is all fast-paced hype edits, we're probably not the right fit — and that's okay.
