Video Editor Needed — Meta Ads Optimization & Original Content Creation

Hello, We’re looking for a skilled video editor to help us transform raw footage into high-performing Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram). Your primary responsibility will be taking existing raw videos and optimizing them for paid social — handling everything from technical formatting to creative enhancements that drive results. We’re not just looking for someone to cut and resize clips. The ideal candidate thinks strategically — someone who doesn’t just edit videos, but builds scroll-stopping, retention-optimized ad creatives engineered to perform in cold traffic Meta environments. You understand the psychology of the feed, know how to hook a viewer in the first two seconds, and make every creative decision with performance in mind. What You’ll Do Technical Adjustments • Resize and reformat raw videos to Meta-approved specs (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, and 16:9 as needed) • Trim and cut footage to optimal ad lengths (6s, 15s, 30s depending on placement) • Optimize video quality, color grading, brightness, and pacing for feed and Stories/Reels environments • Ensure proper audio levels and add music or sound design where appropriate Creative Enhancements • Add accurate, well-timed subtitles/captions (auto-generated + manually reviewed) • Design and overlay compelling taglines, hooks, and call-to-action text • Add motion graphics, transitions, or visual elements that increase engagement • Create multiple ad variants (A/B versions) from a single source video when needed • Insert, as appropriate, brand logo and assets Future Opportunities • Concept and produce original video content for Meta ad campaigns from the ground up • Collaborate on creative strategy to develop ad formats that align with campaign goals What We’re Looking For • Proven experience editing video ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — please include relevant portfolio examples • Proficiency with professional editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) • Strong understanding of Meta ad formats, specs, and best practices for paid placements • Experience with subtitle generation, motion graphics, and text animation • Ability to deliver clean, export-ready files quickly and reliably • Bonus: experience creating video ads from scratch, scripting, or directing/shooting content To Apply, Please Include 1.
