Video Editor Needed – Short-Form Content (Graphics, Overlays, Pacing)

About the role I run a video agency producing short-form content (primarily Instagram Reels and social ads) for clients across service businesses. I'm looking for a reliable, experienced editor to join my workflow on an ongoing basis. What you'll be editing Instagram Reels (15–60 sec) and short-form social ads Client-facing content as well as my own business content — quality and presentation matter Varies week to week; consistent work for the right person What I need from you Motion graphics, custom icons, and branded overlays — not just basic text Smooth, intentional transitions (not overused effects — clean and purposeful) Strong pacing — you understand how to hold attention in the first 3 seconds Colour grading and audio sync Obsessive attention to detail — I shouldn't have to ask for revisions on obvious things You're the right fit if you: Have a portfolio showing social/Reels-style edits (not just long-form or wedding) Can work to a brief and deliver without hand-holding Communicate clearly, hit deadlines, and flag issues early Are comfortable in Premiere Pro, or DaVinci (tell me what you use) To apply, please include: 2–3 examples of short-form content you've edited (Instagram, or YouTube Shorts) One sentence on how you approach pacing in a Reel Your typical turnaround for a 30–60 sec edit Your rate per video (or hourly) Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
