Video Editor Needed: Short-Form Founder Origin Reel Series (Instagram, 2-2:30 minutes each)

I am looking for a skilled video editor to produce a short-form brand film for a premium wine company. This is a paid test project on the first reel, with two additional reels to follow if the work is strong. The project A series of three founder origin reels, each approximately 2 minutes 10 seconds, optimized for Instagram (9:16 vertical). The reels tell the story of how AERILYN Wine Co. came to exist: the founder, the place, and the method. Each reel has its own narrative focus and will be pinned to the brand's Instagram profile as a permanent introduction to the brand. A production storyboard is provided for the first reel that outlines the narrative structure, visual direction, and tone for each beat. I will supply more assets than required and expect the editor to exercise judgment in selecting and sequencing the strongest material within the brief. What you will receive from me: A production storyboard with narrative structure and visual direction by beat, a clean voiceover audio file recorded with a lav mic, an organized folder of stills and video footage across fifteen asset categories, and brand guidelines governing pacing, typography, and visual tone. What I am looking for: Contemplative, editorial pacing. This is not a social media highlight reel. Think documentary or brand film. Ken Burns motion applied to stills. Slow crossfades. No fast cuts. Music selected or suggested to sit quietly beneath the voice. Burned-in captions are a required deliverable, not an optional add. Please review all auto-generated captions for accuracy, including wine terminology. Three static title cards are needed as grid thumbnail images, one per reel. Single-word overlays: Founder, Place, Method. Brand typography and visual treatment to be applied consistently across all three. The ideal editor: Has a portfolio that includes documentary, brand film, or founder storytelling work. Can read a brief and exercise judgment rather than defaulting to templates. Has experience with Descript, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, or equivalent. Communicates clearly and meets deadlines.
