Video Editor Needed: Transform 10+ Hours of Travel Footage (D-Log) into a Cinematic 15-Minute Film

Overview: I am looking for a talented and creative video editor to transform raw footage from a recent European road trip into an engaging, high-quality, and cinematic travel video. I have over 10 hours of raw footage (stored on Google Drive) that needs to be carefully reviewed to select the absolute best, most captivating moments. The final deliverable should be a cohesive video of at least 15 minutes, which I plan to use both as a main film and later cut down into smaller Reels/Shorts. Key Requirements & Responsibilities: Footage Selection: Sift through 10+ hours of raw travel footage and select the most dynamic, beautiful, and storytelling shots. Color Grading (Crucial): All footage was shot in D-Log format. You must be skilled in color correction and grading to bring out a professional, rich, cinematic look. Audio & Music: The original audio from the video clips will not be used. The entire video will rely on background music. I will select select few tracks that match the mood, rhythm, and pacing of a scenic travel journey, after seeing draft, then you will need to adjust by it. Pacing & Engagement: The video needs to be dynamic, fun, and highly engaging—not just a slideshow of clips. Transition effects is not needed. Deliverables: Main Video: A finalized cinematic travel video of at least 15 minutes (High-Quality MP4/MOV). Project Files: The working/source project file (Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve) so that I can make minor color adjustments or edits myself in the future if needed. What I am looking for in a freelancer: Proven experience in video editing, specifically with travel/vlog or cinematic content. Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent color grading skills (experience working with LOG footage is a must). Great sense of rhythm, timing, and music selection.
