Video Editor Needed for Classic Film YouTube Channel (Ongoing Work)

We run a growing YouTube channel called Movies Exposed focused on classic films, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes content. We publish 1–2 videos per week and are looking for a reliable video editor to join us on an ongoing basis. About the videos: 16–19 minute long-form YouTube videos Voiceover-driven format (audio file provided) Classic film footage, stills, and archival imagery Fast-paced editing style — new visual every 3–4 seconds Existing videos on our channel for reference What you'll be doing: Editing pre-recorded voiceover audio against film clips and images Adding lower thirds, text cards, and chapter markers Colour grading to match our established channel aesthetic Basic sound design — music bed, audio levelling Delivering finished files in YouTube-ready format (1080p MP4) What we provide: Full voiceover audio file (MP3) Script with timestamps for reference Thumbnail (finished — no design work needed) Film clips and image assets Channel style guide and reference videos What we're looking for: Experience editing YouTube content — documentary or talking-head style preferred Fast turnaround — 48–72 hours per video Reliable communication — we need someone who meets deadlines Portfolio or sample edits showing similar work Ability to take direction and match existing channel style Editors from all countries welcome. We are looking for the best quality at this budget. Hiring process: Shortlisted candidates will be paid $5 to edit a 2-minute sample clip using our assets. We will hire based on the result. This ensures we find the right fit before committing to full videos. This is ongoing work — if the first video goes well we will work together regularly. We publish consistently and need a dependable editor who can grow with the channel.
