# Video Editor Needed for Premium 30-Second Google Ads Commercial ## Project Summary We are looking for an experienced video editor and motion-graphics professional to create a polished, high-converting 25–30 second video advertisement for **The Trademark Company**. The video will be used primarily as a **Google Ads video asset**, including potential placements across YouTube and other Google advertising inventory. It may also be repurposed for our website and social media. The advertisement will not feature our founder or employees on camera. It should be created using premium licensed stock footage, motion graphics, animated typography, professional voiceover, captions, music and subtle sound design. We are not looking for a generic CapCut template, slideshow or inexpensive-looking corporate video. We want an advertisement that feels modern, credible and appropriate for an established national business-services company. ## About The Trademark Company The Trademark Company has helped entrepreneurs protect and grow their businesses since 2003. Our services include trademark registration, trademark searches, LLC formation, copyright registration, website design and related business services. This video should focus specifically on **trademark registration and brand protection**. Our target audience includes: * Entrepreneurs * Small-business owners * Startup founders * Product creators * Amazon, Etsy and Shopify sellers * Business owners launching a new name, logo or product * Existing companies considering federal trademark registration The audience consists primarily of business owners—not attorneys. The messaging should therefore be clear, conversational and free of unnecessary legal jargon. ## Creative Objective The advertisement should help viewers understand that: 1. Building a business does not automatically protect its name or brand. 2. Trademark registration can help protect what they are building. 3. The Trademark Company makes the process more straightforward. 4. We have been helping entrepreneurs since 2003. 5. The viewer should visit TheTrademarkCompany.com to get started. The video should generate qualified interest and clicks from business owners considering trademark registration. ## Desired Style The finished advertisement should feel: * Modern * Premium * Credible * Professional * Entrepreneurial * Confident * Reassuring * Visually sophisticated * Fast-moving without feeling rushed * Emotionally engaging without being melodramatic Our preferred visual aesthetic is: * Black * White * Selective yellow accents * Bold, modern typography * Cinematic footage of entrepreneurs building businesses * Clean motion graphics * Strong mobile readability We prefer the aesthetic of a modern technology or business-services brand rather than a traditional law-firm commercial. Please avoid: * Generic handshake footage * Gavels, courtrooms or legal clichés * Cheap-looking templates * Excessive transitions * Cartoon-style animation * Obvious or unnatural AI-generated people * Fear-based imagery * Long logo introductions * Overly aggressive sales language ## Recommended Video Structure ### Opening Hook: 0–4 Seconds Show visually compelling footage of an entrepreneur launching, creating or growing a business. Suggested on-screen text: **You built the brand.** Followed by: **Now protect it.** The first three seconds are especially important. Do not begin with a lengthy logo animation. ### The Problem: 4–9 Seconds Show branding, packaging, signage, a website or a business name being developed. Suggested on-screen text: **A business name is not automatically protected.** Suggested voiceover: “Building a business does not automatically protect its name or brand.” ### The Solution: 9–16 Seconds Use motion graphics or visual representations of the trademark process. Possible imagery includes: * Trademark-search icon * Magnifying glass * Application document * Trademark symbol * Filing animation * Protection or shield icon * Website or client-portal imagery Suggested on-screen headline: **Trademark registration made straightforward.** Possible supporting text: **Search. Prepare. File.** Suggested voiceover: “The Trademark Company makes trademark registration straightforward, from searching your name through preparing and filing your application.” ### Credibility: 16–23 Seconds Use polished typography and entrepreneurial imagery to introduce our experience. Suggested on-screen text: **Helping entrepreneurs since 2003** Followed by: **100,000+ entrepreneurs helped** Suggested voiceover: “Since 2003, we have helped more than 100,000 entrepreneurs protect what they are building.” The wording must remain “entrepreneurs helped” or “entrepreneurs served.” Do not change this to “100,000 trademarks registered.” ### Call to Action: 23–30 Seconds End with a polished branded frame containing: * The Trademark Company logo * TheTrademarkCompany.com * A strong call to action * Black, white and yellow brand styling Suggested headline: **Protect Your Brand** Suggested supporting text: **Start Your Trademark Today** Suggested voiceover: “Protect your brand before problems begin. Start today at TheTrademarkCompany.com.” The final branded frame should remain visible for at least three seconds. ## Suggested Voiceover Script “Building a business does not automatically protect its name or brand. The Trademark Company makes trademark registration straightforward, from searching your name through preparing and filing your application. Since 2003, we have helped more than 100,000 entrepreneurs protect what they are building. Protect your brand before problems begin. Start today at TheTrademarkCompany.com.” Minor edits may be made for timing and natural delivery, but material claims may not be changed without approval. ## Voiceover Requirements We prefer a professional human voiceover that sounds: * American * Warm * Trustworthy * Confident * Experienced * Conversational * Professional without sounding like a stereotypical announcer Male or female voices are acceptable. Please provide two or three voice samples before final narration is recorded. Do not use an AI voice without disclosing it and receiving approval. ## Captions and On-Screen Text The video must remain understandable when watched without sound. Captions should be: * Accurate * Professionally formatted * Easy to read on mobile * Limited to one or two short lines * Positioned within safe areas * Styled consistently with the brand The following must be capitalized and displayed correctly: * The Trademark Company * TheTrademarkCompany.com On-screen text should be concise. Do not place the complete voiceover script on screen. ## Music and Licensing Use subtle, modern and optimistic music that communicates progress, confidence and entrepreneurship. Avoid music that feels childish, excessively dramatic, overly corporate or distracting. All stock footage, music, fonts, templates, graphics and sound effects must be properly licensed for: * Commercial advertising * Google Ads * YouTube * Website use * Social media use Please provide licensing information and a list of third-party sources used. Do not use copyrighted YouTube footage, unlicensed music, editorial-only footage, visible third-party logos or watermarked assets. ## Advertising and Legal Restrictions Do not include or imply any of the following: * Guaranteed trademark approval * Guaranteed registration * Instant trademark protection * Complete legal protection * Official USPTO service * Government affiliation * USPTO endorsement * No possibility of rejection * Lowest price in America * Every application will be accepted The Trademark Company is a private company. The video must not imply that it is the United States Patent and Trademark Office or any other government agency. Avoid government seals, official-looking emblems or other imagery that could create confusion. ## Required Deliverables ### Primary Horizontal Version * 16:9 aspect ratio * 1920 × 1080 resolution * MP4 * H.264 codec * 30 frames per second * Approximately 25–30 seconds * Professional voiceover * Licensed music * Captions * Final branded call-to-action screen ### Additional Formats * 1:1 square version at 1080 × 1080 * 9:16 vertical version at 1080 × 1920 The square and vertical versions must be deliberately reformatted. Do not simply crop the horizontal version if doing so cuts off important imagery or text. ### Additional Files Please provide: * Version with burned-in captions * Version without burned-in captions * Voiceover audio file * Thumbnail image * Editable source project * All editable graphics * Font information * Music licensing details * Stock-footage source list * All associated project assets needed to edit the video later ## Production Process The selected freelancer will be expected to complete the project in the following stages: ### Stage 1: Creative Direction Provide: * Proposed visual style * Mood board or sample frames * Typography recommendation * Stock-footage direction * Music direction ### Stage 2: Storyboard Provide a scene-by-scene storyboard showing: * Timing * Visuals * On-screen text * Voiceover * Transitions The storyboard must be approved before full production begins. ### Stage 3: Rough Cut Provide a complete initial version containing: * Voiceover or temporary voice track * Music * Principal footage * Motion graphics * On-screen text * Logo * Call-to-action frame ### Stage 4: Final Production Complete: * Revisions * Color correction * Audio mixing * Caption corrections * Motion refinements * Aspect-ratio adaptations * Final exports * Quality control Please include at least **two reasonable revision rounds** in your fixed-price proposal. ## Assets We Will Provide We will provide: * The Trademark Company logo * Brand colors * Website URL * Final landing-page URL * Approved company claims * Relevant website screenshots * Available brand materials * Examples of styles we like ## Ideal Freelancer The ideal freelancer has experience creating: * Google Ads videos * YouTube advertisements * Direct-response advertisements * Professional business-services videos * Motion graphics * Commercial videos using licensed stock footage * Multiple aspect-ratio versions of the same advertisement Experience with legal services, business services, financial services or other trust-based industries is helpful but not required. ## Proposal Instructions Please begin your proposal with the phrase: **Protect the Brand** This confirms that you have read the full project description. Your proposal should include: 1. Two or three examples of relevant advertisements you created. 2. Examples using motion graphics and stock footage. 3. Your experience producing videos for Google Ads or YouTube Ads. 4. The editing software you will use. 5. Whether a professional human voiceover is included. 6. Whether licensed stock footage and music are included. 7. Whether editable source files are included. 8. The number of revision rounds included. 9. Your estimated delivery schedule. 10. Your fixed-price quote. Please do not submit a generic proposal or a portfolio containing only long-form YouTube editing, podcasts, weddings or basic social-media reels. We are specifically looking for someone who understands advertising, visual storytelling, mobile readability and conversion-focused video production. ## Final Goal The completed video should make viewers think: **“This is an experienced, credible company that understands entrepreneurs and can help me protect the brand I am building.”** The goal is not merely to generate video views. The goal is to generate qualified interest from entrepreneurs actively considering trademark registration.
