LaunchVector operates a portfolio of fast-growing DTC Shopify brands. We scale by identifying what works in paid social and producing high-volume, high-converting creative variations that keep performance improving. We’re hiring a Video Editor who can do more than just cut footage. This role is for someone who understands performance creative and knows how to use modern AI tools to generate, enhance, and iterate ad content quickly across multiple brands. You’ll be creating Meta and TikTok paid ad creatives that are native, fast-paced, conversion-focused, and built to test. What You’ll Do Your job is to study what is already winning, match that style, and create more variations that can perform. Core responsibilities: Edit short-form paid social creatives for Meta and TikTok using provided raw footage, UGC, product content, and brand assets. Create multiple variations of proven-winning ads by changing hooks, openings, pacing, overlays, CTAs, angles, and structure. Use AI tools such as Higgsfield, HeyGen/HeyGem, and other generative creative tools to produce new content variations when raw footage is limited or when new concepts need to be tested quickly. Use AI to assist with avatar videos, voiceovers, hooks, scene generation, scripting support, localization, lip sync, and other creative workflows as needed. Review winning ads and market patterns inside Motion and replicate the structures, styles, and creative angles that are currently working. Maintain the tone, rhythm, and feel of each brand’s best-performing creatives while still generating fresh iterations. Collaborate asynchronously with the creative and growth team via Slack. Follow our production workflow: upload assets to Google Drive, share links, and submit final deliverables into Airtable using proper naming conventions. Turn around edits quickly while staying highly organized across multiple brands and testing cycles. What Great Looks Like You understand direct-response editing and can structure creative around hook, proof, payoff, and CTA. You know how to identify patterns in winning ads and turn one successful concept into many strong test variations. You are fluent with AI-assisted creative production and know when to use tools like Higgsfield, HeyGen/HeyGem, or similar platforms to create usable ad content fast. Your edits feel native to the platform, not overly polished or overproduced. You move fast, stay organized, and can consistently produce quality at volume. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience editing DTC or performance-focused paid social creatives. Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok ad formats, creative trends, and what drives conversion and ROAS. Strong editing ability in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. Hands-on experience using AI creative tools for ad production, including platforms such as Higgsfield, HeyGen/HeyGem, or similar tools for avatar creation, synthetic content, voiceover, scene generation, or creative iteration. Strong instincts for pacing, captions, hooks, text overlays, sound design, and retention-focused editing. Ability to take feedback, revise quickly, and stay aligned with brand voice and creative strategy. Strong organizational skills and reliability in a remote async workflow. Bonus Points: You’ve edited for Beauty, Apparel, Home, Wellness, or other impulse-buy DTC brands. You’ve worked on high-volume creative testing environments. You can script or concept ad variations, not just edit them. You actively experiment with new AI tools and bring ideas for improving creative output and speed. Tools & Workflow We provide: Motion access so you can review top-performing ads and identify winning patterns. A continuous flow of new raw content, past winners, and creative references. Clear briefs, examples, and direction from the team. We use: Slack for communication and feedback Google Drive for asset management Airtable for delivery and tracking Output Expectations Consistent daily or weekly edit volume depending on brand needs Fast iteration cycles and rapid turnaround Ability to manage multiple brands and creative queues in parallel Strong responsiveness and reliability This role has the potential to grow into a full-time, long-term position for the right person.
