Whether you're a startup that needs a first product or an established business that needs a strategic partner, we bring the same craft and dedication to every engagement — regardless of how small the concept or idea. Our company operates on an innovative, agile "pod" structure. Each pod is a self-contained digital media and technology team capable of executing projects across software development, video production, and marketing. We are looking for an organized, highly creative Bench Video Editor to assist our Media Lead and Pod Lead across multiple client accounts and internal company brand channels. In this role, you will be a vital creative support player—assisting with rough cuts, sourcing assets, organizing high volumes of raw footage, building social media assets, and keeping our production workflow running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior-to-mid level video editor who wants exposure to multiple brands, appreciates direct creative mentorship under an experienced Media Lead, and loves fast-paced visual storytelling. This is a part-time, ongoing hourly position. Key Responsibilities Video Editing: Assist the Media Lead by taking raw footage, logging assets, assembling clean rough cuts, and producing the final edits for both short-form and long-form video content that we ship/post, as well as syncing audio and applying revisions based on feedback. Asset & File Management: Maintain highly organized Google Drive/Dropbox folders and project project bins. Handle raw footage ingest, archiving, and structure. Formatting & Exporting: Target and optimize video files for diverse distribution layouts (e.g., vertical 9:16 vertical vs. widescreen 16:9). Social Media & Logistics: Help package final cuts and schedule or publish content across our social media platforms. Eager to Learn & Adapt: You can comfortably receive feedback, implement style guidelines across distinct brands, and quickly master new editing trends or formats. Software Proficient: You have hands-on experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with a strong preference for basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator). A Team Player: You communicate progress proactively, resolve blockers early, and enjoy collaborating as a core support player in an agile team. Budget, Hours & Logistics Commitment: Part-time, starting at 10-15 hours/week with room to increase as project demands scale. Contract Type: Hourly via Upwork (Upwork Time Tracker required).
