Video Editor — Instagram Reels (BTS + Event Highlights) I'm a videographer looking to delegate editing on two types of Instagram Reel content. Both are organic, good-vibes content — not overly polished or corporate. Casual, authentic, and engaging is the goal, with a professional level of craft underneath that. The Work 1. Behind-the-scenes reels (primary project) I shot behind-the-scenes footage over about 10–15 days for a documentary project (B-roll + talking-head interview clips). All filming is done — this is footage I already have, not an ongoing shoot. I need it organized, culled, and cut into short-form Instagram reels that give a feel for what it was like making the project. Total output: roughly 10–20 reels, released gradually over time — no rush, no fixed deadlines Mix of B-roll and interview soundbites Vibe: organic, behind-the-scenes, a little raw and real — not a polished trailer 2. Event highlight reels (recurring) About 4–6 reels a month, sometimes more when the footage is simple and quick to cut These are generally fast, straightforward edits Timeline is loose — not same-day or rush turnaround Vibe: fun, good energy, hits the highlights What You'll Need Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (don't need to be a top-tier expert — just comfortable and efficient) Able to organize and sort through a decent amount of raw footage without hand-holding A good eye for pacing and an organic, non-corporate Instagram Reels style Comfortable cutting interview/talking-head footage into short clips Clear communication and openness to feedback Pace & Structure Ongoing, part-time, freelance work with no fixed hours. The BTS project is unhurried — steady progress over the coming months. The event reels are the more recurring monthly piece, quick and simple edits with a loose timeline. Compensation Hourly, $18–25/hr to start. This can grow to $30–40/hr over time as we establish a good working relationship.
