Video Editor + Research Assistant for Cultural YouTube Channel (Ongoing Work)

I run a YouTube channel focused on pop culture, entertainment history, and classic television. I have a large archive of interview footage and video material that I want to turn into an ongoing series of engaging YouTube videos. I'm looking for one person who can handle both research and editing on an ongoing basis. Phase 1 — Research (first project): Watch a provided list of video interviews and log the best moments into a Google Sheet with timestamps, topic tags, and one-sentence summaries. Topics will be provided in advance. Approximately 30-50 interviews to start. Phase 2 — Video Production (ongoing): Using the clip library you've helped build, edit 4-7 minute videos. Each video will include: 3-5 interview clips Photos and supporting images (provided) Voiceover audio (provided) Text cards and captions Music (provided or sourced royalty-free) AI photos and videos Style is modern YouTube video essay/social commentary - punchy and engaging for both older and younger audiences. A strong eye for visual storytelling is essential - we love a stop-motion collage aesthetic with dynamic photo sequencing, creative text animation, and layered visuals that make archival material feel fresh and cinematic. This is ongoing work with a consistent pipeline of content. I have enough material for 50+ videos. Must be detail-oriented, and comfortable with entertainment and pop culture content.
