Video Editor - Short Form

We’re looking for a fast, reliable video editor to support real-time content during a tech event. This is a high-speed environment — content will be captured throughout the day and needs to be edited and turned around quickly for social media. This is NOT high-production editing. We’re looking for someone who can move fast, clean up clips, and get content out. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Edit short-form videos (Reels/TikTok style) • Trim clips, remove mistakes, tighten pacing • Add basic subtitles/captions • Light transitions (nothing heavy or cinematic) • Turn around content same day or within 12–24 hours max • Upload/schedule content to social platforms (Instagram primarily) • Organize files via Google Drive / Dropbox • Communicate quickly with team during event ⸻ Requirements: • Must be available during EST hours (critical) • Experience editing short-form content (Reels/TikTok) • Familiar with CapCut or Adobe Premiere (CapCut is totally fine) • Comfortable adding captions/subtitles • Strong internet connection (you will be receiving files throughout the day) • Reliable device (no lag / no delays) • Able to handle fast turnaround deadlines consistently 🚨 If you cannot consistently turn around edits within 12–24 hours, this role is not a fit. ⸻ Bonus (Preferred but Not Required): • Experience posting/scheduling content on Instagram • Understanding of viral-style content and pacing • Experience working with event or real-time content ⸻ Timeline: • May 4–8 (primary coverage days) • Potential light prep before and wrap after ⸻ To Apply: Please include: 1.
