Video Editor | DR UGC ADs

VisCap Media is a creative agency serving global e-commerce brands through high-converting, on-brand video ads for social media. We're currently hiring a freelance Video Editor to join our Post-Production Team. The ideal candidate has experience crafting direct response video ads and is comfortable editing both short-form (15–60 seconds) and occasional long-form (up to 5 minutes) content. You'll work with provided storyboards, raw footage, and a reference ad to complete a test project. Note: Payment is awarded only if the test project is successfully completed. Upon passing, you’ll be fully integrated into our system and receive consistent freelance editing opportunities. Apply if you have: 3+ years of video editing experience, particularly for social media and direct response ads Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (Photoshop, Illustrator a plus) Strong storytelling and conceptual skills — able to craft visual narratives that sell A sharp eye for detail, pacing, and scene flow Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines A solid understanding of marketing principles — especially product-focused video strategy Familiarity with current visual trends and scroll-stopping creative techniques Collaborative communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within teams Creative thinking and originality, including knowledge of stylized transitions, video effects, and experimental formats A results-driven mindset — you care about producing content that not only looks great but drives performance Please include: A portfolio with your best performing direct response marketing ads A short note on why you're a good fit Your availability to complete a 72-hour test project
