Video Editor/ Video Cutter (FINAL CUT PRO X)

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team. We need an editor who can help craft engaging 20–35-minute videos for a YouTube creator. Final Cut Pro X users only. Your primary responsibility will be to edit footage into a clean, natural, and engaging final product with smooth dialogue flow that is easy to follow. You will not be required to add music, colour grading, motion graphics, or other advanced post-production elements. Your role is focused solely on cutting and refining the footage. This is an immediate start position, and we are looking for a long-term collaboration with the right editor who shares a passion for storytelling through food. Editing Style & Inspiration: We are looking for an editing style that is fast-paced, authentic, engaging, and full of personality. What You'll Work On • Proxy files • Single-camera footage • Conversational, fast-paced edits • Clean dialogue flow (removing filler words, pauses, and unnecessary sections) You'll Receive • Project briefs • Storyline outlines Mandatory Skills • Final Cut Pro X What I Expect in the Final Edit • Clean, natural dialogue flow that is smooth and easy to follow • Strong B-roll integration that enhances the storytelling • Good pacing and effective jump cuts that maintain viewer engagement Editing Guidelines • Keep the video visually engaging, with something interesting happening every 10–15 seconds Ideal Candidate • Fluent in English (spoken and written) • Must edit exclusively in Final Cut Pro X • Must provide the Final Cut Pro library files at the end of each project so minor revisions can be made if needed • Strong communication skills and accountability when it comes to deadlines • Able to explain creative decisions when required If you love food content and know how to make videos feel alive, I'd love to hear from you!
