Video Editor for Architectural Projects - Extended Timeline, High-End Color Grade
Worldwide
I'm a video production company based in Northern California. This role is specifically for architectural and luxury real estate video production — cinematic, long-form pieces that take viewers through a space through footage, pacing, and color. This is not social media content. No trends, no quick cuts, no text overlays. These are high-quality, deliberate videos that require experience in high-end real estate, luxury real estate, or architecture. That background is a must. ____ What the work looks like: You'll receive footage from architectural shoots and build an initial edit. The structure follows a natural path through the space — starting outside, moving in, flowing through each area, and finishing with a clear sense of conclusion. No jumping around. Slow, intentional pacing throughout. After the initial edit is delivered, the project enters an extended review period. Client revisions can come in weeks or close to a month after delivery. Those revisions are typically minor like swapping clips, adjusting pacing, small cleanups. Titles and motion graphics are handled separately and are not part of your initial delivery. Payment is released upon delivery of the initial edit. This role does require availability to return to the project for revisions within that extended window. If that's not something you can commit to, you're still welcome to apply, but you'll need to hand off all project files in a clean, organized state and this will have an impact on the agreed payment schedule. ____ What I'm looking for: - Proven experience with high-end real estate, luxury real estate, or architectural video — this is required, not a nice to have - Exceptional color grading - Comfortable with slow, deliberate pacing, so, if your reel is all fast cuts, this probably isn't the right fit - Clean project file management - Reliable communication on longer timelines NLE preference is Final Cut Pro, but I'm open to other professional editing software. Note what you use in your application. Rate is negotiated per project based on experience and scope. This is meant to be an ongoing relationship, not a one-time job. To apply, include a link to your portfolio or reel with examples of architectural or luxury real estate work. Tell me what NLE you work in and a little about your background.
