Video Editor for Ecommerce Ad Creatives

We're a Shopify app looking for an experienced video editor who can take raw UGC/ad content and turn it into high-performing social media ads. You should understand direct-response editing styles for ecommerce/paid ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) - and ideally know how to make a software product/app feel exciting on screen. What you'll do: Add different hooks at the start of ad videos to maximize scroll-stopping. - Edit and polish multiple ad variations from the same raw footage. - Cut screen recordings / product demos into clean, snappy sequences that show the app in action. - Add captions/subtitles in an engaging style (animated/text highlights preferred). - Format videos for different platforms (1:1, 9:16, 16:9). - Make the ads feel fast-paced, clean, and optimized for conversions. Requirements: - Proven experience editing ecommerce or direct-response ads. - Ability to create multiple variations quickly. - Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and performance-focused edits. - Comfortable mixing UGC with screen-capture/product footage. - Comfortable adding captions that look modern and easy to read. - Fast turnaround.
