ABOUT THE ROLE: A fast-growing digital marketing agency based in New York is seeking a Video Production Editor to create and edit high-performing video content for ecommerce ad campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in UGC editing, experienced with AI tools for content generation, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a contractor role with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment. We are looking for someone who can commit 20+ hours per week with the potential for increased hours as we grow. ABOUT YOU: Are you a highly skilled video editor with a knack for crafting compelling UGC-style ads, AI-generated content, and iterative video testing? We need someone who is efficient, creative, and comfortable working at a high volume, producing engaging, conversion-driven video ads. You should be able to generate assets using AI tools, efficiently edit and iterate on winning creatives, and turn around videos quickly—ideally within an hour per video. If you thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you! RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit and produce high-converting ad creatives for ecommerce clients, with a focus on UGC, AI-assisted content, and performance marketing videos. Utilize AI tools like Runway, MidJourney, Pika Labs, WellSaid, ElevenLabs, and ChatGPT to generate photos, videos, voiceovers, and other creative assets. Iterate on winning content by creating multiple versions of high-performing videos, testing different hooks, cuts, and visuals to improve results. Edit videos quickly (each project should take no more than 1 hour) while maintaining high-quality output. Export and optimize videos for different social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Ads, etc.). Manage and organize video assets efficiently to streamline workflow and team collaboration. Communicate with the team via Slack, Trello, and Google Suite to track tasks, deliverables, and feedback. REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & CapCut Strong understanding of UGC editing and best practices for high-converting ad creatives. Experience using AI tools to generate creative assets for video production. Ability to work at scale—producing and iterating on multiple variations of a video each week. Extreme attention to detail and a passion for performance-driven video content. Fast turnaround time—each video should take 1 hour or less to complete. Fluent English skills (strong verbal and written communication). Ability to work independently while collaborating with a fast-moving team.
