We produce long-form (~10–17 minute) business-documentary videos — story-driven deep-dives into corporate collapses, frauds, and secret empires. We need a video editor who can turn a voiceover track and script into a polished, retention-optimized documentary-style edit that keeps viewers watching to the end. What you'll do: - Edit provided VO + script into a finished video: pacing, b-roll, stock footage, archival clips, motion graphics, text callouts, charts/stat overlays, and light sound design. - Source and sync relevant b-roll and imagery (company footage, news clips, product shots, charts) to match the narration. - Reinforce retention: visual pattern interrupts, on-screen data emphasis, smooth transitions, and clean cuts that support the story's rising tension. - Build simple but clear motion graphics for numbers and comparisons (a big part of this niche is making stats land visually). You're a fit if you: - Have edited long-form, narration-driven content — business/tech explainers, video essays, or documentaries (please show examples). - Understand YouTube retention editing, not just cinematic polish — you know how to fight drop-off. - Can handle stock/archival sourcing and basic motion graphics without hand-holding.
