Video Editor for TV/Movie Reaction YouTube Channel: Raw Footage to Polished Reaction Videos
Worldwide
I run a second YouTube channel (currently 17K subscribers) that's part of a larger content brand, my main channel has 380K+ subscribers. Right now this second channel posts a mix of content, but I'm rebranding it into a dedicated TV show and movie reaction channel, and I'm looking for a video editor to help make that happen. Here's the workflow: I record full, raw, uncut reaction footage for my Patreon (me reacting live to TV episodes and movies). You'll take that raw footage and turn it into a polished, high production YouTube video. The final video should: Focus on me and my commentary as the main subject of the video Only include short, fair use style clips of what I'm reacting to, never long uninterrupted segments, so the video stays safe from copyright claims Have clean pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design, and any graphics or captions needed to keep it engaging Match the tone and editing style of the reference videos I'll provide Video length will vary depending on the source material, so you'll need to make smart editing calls about pacing rather than hitting a fixed runtime. What I need from you: Experience editing reaction content or similar commentary/entertainment YouTube videos is a plus, but I'm open to all experience levels if your portfolio shows strong editing instincts Understanding of fair use best practices for reaction content Reliable turnaround on 1 to 2 videos per week Willingness to review reference videos and match an established style Pay: Flat rate per video (open to discussing rate based on experience and sample work) To apply, please include: Your portfolio or past reaction/commentary edits Your estimated turnaround time per video Your proposed flat rate per video
