Video Editor for Nonprofit (Subtitles, Compiling, Light Edits) — 5-7 hrs/week

Bridges is a Houston-based nonprofit whose mission is helping people of faith become better neighbors. We're looking for a reliable video editor to join us on a part-time, ongoing basis, about 5-7 hours per week. We'll provide the raw video and audio tracks; your job is to take it from there. What you'll be doing: Adding accurate, well-timed subtitles/captions to video content Compiling and assembling raw footage into finished videos Light editing: trimming, cutting, sequencing clips, basic color and audio leveling Adding simple lower-thirds, titles, or transitions where needed Exporting in formats suited for social media (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and web What we're looking for: Strong eye for pacing and clean, accurate captioning Comfortable working independently from provided footage with minimal hand-holding once you know our style Good communication and reliable turnaround times Bonus: experience editing interview, panel, or event-style content; comfort with content that touches on faith, culture, or community topics Details: Ongoing, part-time: approximately 5-7 hours/week Fully remote We'll supply video files and audio tracks; you handle syncing, editing, subtitles, and export Please share 2-3 samples of relevant work (event recaps, interview edits, or captioned social videos) with your application
