About the role: We are supporting a clean-energy technology company running an active capital-raise campaign. We have a library of raw and previously produced video content. We need an editor who can repurpose it into high-performing short-form video for organic social and paid advertising. This is not a "make one hero video" job. We want a reliable editing partner who can take existing footage and consistently ship a high volume of platform-native clips, ad variations, and cutdowns on a steady cadence. What you will do: -Edit raw and existing footage into short-form video (15 to 60 seconds) for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Meta / YouTube paid ads. -Produce multiple aspect ratios from the same source (9:16, 1:1, 16:9). -Build strong hooks in the first 3 seconds and clear pacing that holds attention. -Add captions / subtitles, on-screen text, light motion graphics, and brand elements. -Create multiple variations of the same concept for A/B testing on ad platforms. -Apply our brand system (we will provide colors, fonts, logo, and style guidance). -Turn around edits on a predictable schedule with clean, organized file delivery. What we are looking for: -Proven short-form editing for social and paid ads (please share a reel or links). -Strong instinct for hooks, retention, and pacing on mobile. -Comfort working from a footage library and a brief, not just polished source. -Fluency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent. -Captioning and clean typography. Light motion graphics ability. -Fast, consistent turnaround and clear communication. -Bonus: experience editing for tech, energy, finance, B2B, or investor-facing content. -Bonus: ability to pull selects from long raw footage with minimal direction. -Bonus: ability to use AI to generate b-roll Logistics: Engagement: Ongoing, with steady weekly volume. Strong fit can become a long-term recurring role. Volume: Roughly 3 short-form videos per week to start. Turnaround: 24-48 hours per batch Tools / handoff: Footage shared via Microsoft Sharepoint. Deliverables via Microsoft Sharepoint.
