Video Editor for Successful YouTube Channels

We run a high-output music media channel and we're looking for a skilled video editor who can keep up — and stay on long-term. This isn't a one-off project. We want someone who becomes a trusted part of the team, owns the weekend edit schedule, and takes pride in delivering clean, punchy content that performs. The content spans interviews, festival and concert coverage, commentary pieces, and short-form clips across YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and TikTok. The pace is tied to real-time music news and live events — so speed matters as much as quality. What you'll be doing: - Editing YouTube videos and short-form content (Shorts, Reels, TikTok) - Matching our established editorial style, tone, and pacing - Syncing audio, color grading, and adding graphics/lower-thirds - Hitting tight weekend turnarounds consistently and reliably Must-haves: - A strong editing reel or portfolio (please include one) - Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar - A genuine feel for music and rock/pop culture — it shows in the work - Sharp attention to detail and clear, responsive communication - Weekend availability (this is a weekend-focused role) Bonus points for: - Experience editing for large YouTube channels (100k+ subscribers) - Fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality - Graphic design or motion skills (thumbnails, lower-thirds, intro animations) - Social media management or short-form content strategy experience To apply: Send your reel or portfolio, a quick note on a recent project you're proud of, your weekend availability, and your hourly rate.
