Video Editor for True Crime YouTube Channel

Job Description: We are hiring a highly skilled Video Editor to join our growing YouTube channel focused on true crime content. This role requires strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and experience working with sensitive footage. The ideal candidate understands how to create suspenseful, engaging long-form content while following YouTube’s content policies and handling graphic or restricted material responsibly. Responsibilities: Edit long-form true crime videos into engaging, well-paced episodes Blur or censor sensitive or restricted content when required Add b-roll, images, sound effects, and subtle motion graphics to enhance storytelling Ensure proper pacing, emotional impact, and narrative flow Maintain high audio and video quality standards Follow channel style and branding guidelines Requirements: Previous experience editing true crime, investigative, or documentary-style videos Strong understanding of YouTube content policies and monetization guidelines Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts Preferred (but not required): a. Experience working with crime footage b. Familiarity with long-form YouTube content (20–60 minutes) c.
