Video Editor with Military History Knowledge (Long-Term) I run a YouTube channel about military history (140k subscribers) and I'm looking for a video editor to join the team long-term. This role is about 90% sourcing the right footage and reference material, and only 10% the editing itself. The clips, images, and stock you choose have to be historically accurate and actually match what the voiceover is describing, so a solid understanding of military history is essential, not just nice to have. If the voiceover mentions an American soldier, the footage has to show an American soldier. If the voiceover mentions a Sherman tank, then a Sherman tank must be shown, not a Tiger or a T34. Understanding this and differentiating weapon models are crucial for this role. The remaining editing work is putting it all together so it flows smoothly with the narration. If clips from youtube are used, fair share policy must be followed. No AI footage.
