The Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality, professional video content for Value’s property listings, company branding, podcasts, and social media platforms. The main priority of this role will be editing property videos using provided property photos, aerial footage, drone footage, and other visual assets. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to combine traditional video editing with AI editing tools to improve efficiency, enhance visuals, create engaging content, and support faster turnaround times. Primary Responsibilities Property Video Editing Create polished property marketing videos using provided property photos, aerial footage, drone footage, and branded assets. Property videos should follow a similar style and quality to this example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnqJhJiRnl0 Use video editing and AI editing tools together when appropriate to enhance property videos, improve flow, create clean transitions, generate captions, improve visuals, and streamline production. Ensure all property videos are visually engaging, professional, and aligned with Value’s branding. Add music, transitions, text overlays, property details, maps, logos, and call-to-action slides as needed. Maintain a consistent style and format across all property listing videos. Complete property videos within a 3-business-day turnaround time from receipt of all required materials. AI Editing & Enhancement Utilize AI-powered editing tools to support video creation, captioning, audio cleanup, visual enhancement, resizing, formatting, and short-form content creation. Apply AI tools thoughtfully while maintaining a professional, polished, and brand-consistent final product. Use AI editing to help repurpose long-form videos into short clips, reels, social media posts, and promotional content. Stay current with new AI video editing tools and recommend ways they can improve workflow and content quality. Company Video Editing Assist with editing company videos, brand videos, team videos, interview-style videos, and other internal or external marketing pieces as needed. Edit footage to create clean, professional, and engaging final videos that support the company’s brand and messaging. Podcast Editing Edit podcast content as needed, including trimming footage, improving audio quality, adding intros/outros, captions, branding, and formatting for social media or long-form platforms. Create short clips from podcasts for social media use when requested. Social Media Content Editing Assist in creating and editing short-form video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X. Work alongside the SEO/Social Media Manager to understand what content is needed and ensure videos are formatted correctly for each platform. Create reels, clips, captions, and promotional video posts as needed. Turnaround Time Property videos must be completed within 3 business days after receiving all necessary photos, aerials, footage, branding, and property information. Additional video projects, including company videos, podcasts, and social media clips, will be scheduled based on project priority and workload. Meetings & Communication The Video Editor will meet with the team twice weekly for project updates, review of current work, feedback, and upcoming assignments. Must be responsive to edits, revisions, and internal deadlines. Must communicate clearly regarding timelines, missing materials, and project status. Collaboration Work directly with the marketing team, SEO/Social Media Manager, and company leadership as needed. Coordinate with the SEO/Social Media Manager on social media content needs, video formatting, posting requirements, and platform-specific content. Ensure all final videos match the company’s professional standards and branding guidelines. Required Skills Strong video editing experience. Ability to create professional property marketing videos from photos and aerial footage. Experience using AI editing tools in combination with traditional video editing software. Ability to use AI tools for captions, audio cleanup, visual enhancement, resizing, repurposing content, and workflow improvement. Experience with captions, transitions, music, branding, and social media formatting. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Experience editing commercial real estate, corporate, podcast, or social media content is preferred. Deliverables Completed property marketing videos. Edited company videos as assigned. Edited podcast episodes and short-form podcast clips as needed. Social media video posts, reels, and clips as requested. AI-enhanced video assets when appropriate. Revisions based on team feedback. Goal of Role The goal of the Video Editor is to provide fast, professional, and consistent video content that supports Value’s property marketing, company branding, social media presence, and overall marketing strategy while using both video editing and AI editing tools to improve quality, creativity, and production efficiency.
