Overview We’re a fast-moving team looking for a talented video editor who lives at the intersection of creative instinct and AI-powered production. You’ll take our existing graphic ads and raw concepts and turn them into polished short-form videos, animated ads, and punchy scripts — all at scale. This is an ongoing contract role requiring consistent daily availability and fast turnaround. Role Details Output target: 20+ ads per week Availability required: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday Response time: Must be responsive during working hours — same-day communication expected Project type: Ongoing contract Hourly rate: $5 – $25/hr (based on experience and output quality) Getting started: We begin with a small paid trial project before committing to ongoing work Ad Formats A core part of this role is format adaptation. You’ll be resizing and re-composing ads to fit multiple placements across Meta, TikTok, and other platforms. Common format conversions include: • 1:1 graphic ads → animated/video versions in 4:5 and 9:16 • 9:16 graphic ads → animated/video versions in 9:16 and 4:5 You must understand how to reframe compositions, adjust safe zones, and maintain visual hierarchy across aspect ratios — not just crop and resize. What You’ll Be Doing • Adapt existing graphic ads into short-form video ads across multiple formats: 1:1 → 4:5 and 9:16, and 9:16 graphics → 9:16 and 4:5 videos • Bring new ad concepts to life from creative briefs we provide • Write short, punchy ad scripts to accompany video content • Produce 20+ ad variations per week with consistent quality • Communicate proactively and meet daily deadlines during PST business hours • Maintain organized file delivery and meet turnaround expectations Requirements • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects • Strong working knowledge of AI video and creative tools (e.g. Runway, Kling, Pika, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Higgsfield, Seeddance 2.0, Eleven Labs, or similar) • Proven experience producing animated or motion-graphic ads • Able to maintain high output volume without sacrificing quality • Available and responsive 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday • Portfolio demonstrating short-form ad work — links required in application Nice to Have (Bonus Points) • You own and actively use your own AI tool subscriptions • Experience with direct-response or performance marketing ads • Background in copywriting or scripting for video • Familiarity with ad specs across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and display formats How to Apply Please include the following in your application: • A brief intro about your background and relevant experience • Links to 3–5 ad samples from your portfolio (animated or video ads strongly preferred; show any format adaptation work if available) • A note on which AI tools you use regularly in your workflow Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
