Summary

We're a fast-growing internet service provider focused on multifamily and apartment communities. We publish founder-led and team video content to build our brand with property owners, operators, and residents. We're looking for a reliable editor to be our ongoing video partner, not a one-off freelancer. What you'll do Each week you'll turn our raw recordings into polished, on-brand content: Edit 6–10 short social clips (30–90 seconds, vertical 9:16) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Edit 1–2 long-form videos (2–10 minutes, horizontal 16:9) for YouTube and LinkedIn. Pull the best moments out (with the editing help of our team) of longer recordings (webinars, podcasts, interviews) and cut them into standalone clips. Add accurate, well-timed, styled captions in English. Auto-generated transcripts are fine as a starting point, but we expect clean, correct, readable captions. Add animated captions, lower-thirds, and light motion graphics using our brand assets. Design clickable thumbnails for long-form videos. Source material We record our sessions in Riverside (talking-head, interviews, and podcast-style recordings), and we also capture some selfie-style video on phone or camera. We'll share the raw Riverside recordings, separate tracks, and any scripts or notes through a shared folder. Tools We record in Riverside, so familiarity with pulling and working from Riverside files and separate audio/video tracks is a plus. For editing itself, use whatever you do your best work in. We lean toward editors comfortable with Descript and Opus Clips for fast captioning and clipping, but no specific editing tool is required. Tell us what you use and why. Brand We have established brand assets (logo, colors, fonts, templates). You'll work within our existing style and help keep it consistent across every video. Turnaround & cadence This is ongoing weekly work. We expect roughly 48-hour turnaround per batch. Consistency and communication matter more to us than the absolute fastest delivery. How we'll work together Payment: Fixed price per video or per weekly batch. Propose your rate structure in your application. Revisions: Up to two rounds included per video. We give clear, specific feedback. Communication: We'll align on a primary channel and expect responsiveness during the business week. Ownership & confidentiality: All final files, project files, and assets are our property. You'll keep our footage and materials confidential. You're a great fit if you Have a portfolio of short-form social clips AND long-form talking-head or YouTube content. Are meticulous about caption accuracy, timing, and styling. Can self-direct, hit deadlines, and communicate proactively. Have an eye for pacing, hooks, and retention in social video. Have reasonable working-hours overlap with US time zones. Bonus points Experience editing B2B, SaaS, real estate, proptech, or founder-led content. Strong motion-graphics skills. Experience with Riverside, Descript, or Opus Clips.
