Video editor (advanced)

Advanced Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve) We're looking for an experienced video editor to join our growing production team. This role is primarily focused on editing event content, brand films, social media content and commercial projects. We are not looking for a beginner editor. We're looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, sound design, colour grading and how to turn average footage into something engaging and memorable. About Us We work with hospitality venues, luxury brands, automotive clients, corporate businesses and events, creating premium photo and video content that helps brands stand out. The Role You'll be working closely with our creative director to edit a range of projects, including: Events Social media reels Corporate Hospitality and lifestyle campaigns Automotive content Essential Requirements Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve Strong understanding of editing for social media platforms Intermediate to advanced colour grading skills Ability to maintain consistency across projects Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and fluent English You should know how to: Create energy and momentum within a video Make content feel premium and engaging Build emotion through music and pacing with different sound design Use sound effects effectively Create transitions when appropriate Use masking and advanced editing techniques Utilise AI tools like nano banana Turn potentially flat footage into content people actually want to watch This role requires someone with creative vision, not someone who simply follows a timeline and cuts clips together.
