ABOUT US We are a weekly podcast covering deep tech, AI, robotics, and European tech sovereignty. We record on Riverside (and in rare cases offline) and need a reliable editing partner to take raw recordings and turn them into polished, publish-ready content; consistently, episode after episode. WHAT YOU'D OWN -- Full episode edit: - Audio cleanup / sound engineering (levels, noise reduction, clarity) - Cuts (removing dead air, filler, mistakes) while preserving natural conversation flow - Visual enhancements where useful (lower thirds, b-roll/graphics, captions) - Branded intro - Overall pacing: the episode should be catchy and appropriately paced/length, not just trimmed -- Shorts (nice-to-have, but a strong plus if you can do this well): - 3–5 short-form cuts per episode optimized for YouTube Shorts and Instagram/TikTok We'd strongly prefer one person doing both — but we're flexible on that if your full-episode editing quality is excellent, even without strong shorts skills. Let us know which you are. --Turnaround: We expect delivery within 1 week of receiving the raw recording. THE TRIAL TASK Before any long-term commitment, we ask candidates to edit one past episode (we'll provide the raw Riverside recording) as a paid test project. This lets us both assess: - Editing quality and style fit - Whether we're aligned on creative direction ("do we speak the same language") - Turnaround diligence and communication This is paid work at our standard per-episode rate, not a free sample. WHAT A GREAT OUTCOME LOOKS LIKE: If the trial goes well, this becomes a recurring weekly (or near-weekly) arrangement; a long-term working relationship, not a one-off gig.
