**Video Editor Needed for Faceless African History YouTube Channel** **About the Channel** Time Machine Africa is a growing faceless YouTube channel dedicated to uncovering the untold stories of the African continent — ancient empires, legendary figures, colonial history, and modern achievements. We produce cinematic, narration-driven documentary-style videos with no on-camera presenter. **What You'll Be Doing** - Assembling videos using AI-generated voiceovers and stock footage - Syncing narration audio with relevant video clips, images, and text overlays - Adding cinematic background music (we will provide or you suggest) - Creating smooth transitions and basic motion graphics / lower thirds - Color grading footage for a consistent, cinematic look - Exporting finished videos at 1080p (YouTube-ready) **Video Specs** - Length: 8–12 minutes per video - Style: Documentary / educational (think: National Geographic meets YouTube history) - Tone: Cinematic, serious, inspiring - Upload frequency: 1 video per week **What We Provide** - Finished AI voiceover (MP3) - Script for reference - Topic and research notes - Stock footage suggestions or sourcing guidance - Thumbnail brief (separate designer handles thumbnails) **Requirements** - Portfolio of at least 2–3 edited YouTube videos (history, documentary, or educational preferred) - Experience with stock footage platforms (Pexels, Pixabay, Storyblocks, Envato) - Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro - Able to deliver within 3–4 days of receiving assets - Good communication and reliable turnaround - Experience with African or world history content is a big plus **Nice to Have** - Experience with AI-assisted video tools (Pictory, InVideo, CapCut AI) - Ability to add simple motion graphics or animated text - Familiarity with YouTube retention techniques (pacing, cuts, b-roll timing) **Budget** $15–$30 per finished video This is an ongoing role.
